Join Us for Litter Clean-ups throughout Sussex County

To celebrate national Mosquito Control Week, the SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group has teamed up with Sussex County Clean Communities and the Sussex County Office of Mosquito Control to organize litter clean-ups throughout the county. Join us at a clean-up location near you to help us keep Sussex County clean! No registration necessary.
Sunday 6/25:
- Clean-Up Location: Sparta High School and West Mountain Road
- Where to Park Your Car: Sparta High School football field parking lot (across street from school: 70 West Mountain Road in Sparta)
- Event Time: 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Monday 6/26:
- Clean-Up Location: Route 517 in Vernon and the Appalachian Trail Boardwalk
- Where to Park Your Car: on 517 near start of wooden boardwalk
- Event Time: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Thursday 6/29:
- Clean-Up Location: Hardyston Municipal Park on Wheatsworth Road
- Where to Park Your Car: Hardyston Municipal Park
- Event Time: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Saturday 7/1:
- Clean-Up Location: Lake Pochung Road in Sussex
- Where to Park Your Car: Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters at 1547 County Rd 565, Sussex, NJ 07461
