WRWMG Education Specialist Attends Water Festival at Hamburg School

Kristine Rogers, Education Specialist for the WRWMG, participated in an outdoor water festival at Hamburg School to educate students about protecting water quality. Through her presentation, elementary school students learned about how people cause water pollution and had an opportunity to examine live insects collected from the Wallkill River. The students had a great time observing the bugs swimming around their containers and are excited to visit the Wallkill themselves in order to find more aquatic insects.
