Rain Garden Installed at Culver Lake Clubhouse

Monday, October 22, 2018

We’d like to extend a big thank you to Tristan Caffrey, a High Point High School senior, who recently worked with the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group to install a rain garden at the Culver Lake Clubhouse as part of his Eagle Scout project.

The newly installed rain garden will serve as a demonstration project to show other Culver Lake residents the collective water quality improvements that can result from many homeowners deciding to install rain gardens on their own properties. Over the coming months, the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group hopes to install several additional rain gardens around Culver Lake and other Paulins Kill lake communities.
