AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassador Hosts Litter Clean-Up at Memory Park

John Ragsdale from the AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassadors’ Program teamed up with the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group and Halsted Middle School in Newton, NJ for a litter clean-up in the township’s park.
In all, 83 6th graders from the township participated in the event and helped prevent litter from entering the headwaters of the Paulins Kill River.
