WRWMG Organizes Litter Clean-Up in Newton

The WRWMG hosted a litter clean-up in Newton’s Memory Park with volunteers from Newton Elementary and Middle School's' Choose 2 Connect program, an after school enrichment program that connects students with local community groups for STEM-based activities and learning experiences. This event was one of several litter clean-ups hosted in different towns in Warren and Sussex Counties as part of the 2nd Annual Paulins Kill Watershed-wide Clean-Up hosted by The Nature Conservancy and several other environmental organizations. In total, 4 bags of recycling and 3 bags of garbage were removed from the park.
