Newton Choose 2 Connect Students Make Homemade Water Filters

Students at Halsted Middle School worked with the WRWMG’s Education Specialist to construct their own water filters. The lab was designed to teach students about the water filtration properties of rain gardens and other nature-based solutions to stormwater management.
