Rain Garden Maintenance Day Hosted at Halsted Middle School

Students from Halsted Middle School’s Summer STEAM program recently helped provide maintenance to the rain garden that the SCMUA-WRWMG installed at the school in 2019. The garden was planted with a number of native species that are attracting pollinators to the campus while also managing stormwater runoff flowing from the school’s parking lot area.
