WRWMG’s AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassador Hosts Invasives Removal Event

Thursday, March 31, 2022

Ian Keebler, the AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassador for the Wallkill River Watershed, recently hosted a weekend volunteer event to remove invasive species from Wawayanda State Park. The volunteers used hand tools to clear a patch of invasive autumn olive from the state-owned land.

Later this spring, Ian will be hosting another volunteer event in partnership with Wawayanda State Park. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Ian at wma2.njwap@gmail.com for more details about the event.
