Members of Trout Unlimited Help Remove Tree Tubes and Stakes

The Fred S. Burroughs Chapter of Trout Unlimited recently worked with the WRWMG to remove tree tubes and stakes off of mature trees that were planted along the Paulins Kill River almost a decade ago. In total, 175 tree tubes and 95 PVC stakes were removed from the site by Trout Unlimited volunteers in preparation for recycling. Tree tubes needed to be installed around the saplings because deer and rodents pose a threat to young trees.
