WRWMG Education Specialist Attends Climate Change Teaching Workshop

Kristine Rogers, the WRWMG’s Education Specialist, attended a Project WET Climate, Water, and Resilience Training sponsored by the NJDEP in order to learn how to best communicate to children about the impacts of climate change. Beginning this fall, the NJ Department of Education will require that information about climate change be taught in New Jersey’s public schools. This workshop provided examples of curriculum lessons that can be taught in schools to meet these new requirements.
