WRWMG Organizes Maintenance Day at Newton High Rain Garden

The WRWMG and two student volunteers from Pope John High School worked together to give the Newton High School rain garden a facelift for the start of the new school year. The group pulled weeds that had grown in the rain garden throughout the summer, and now the native planting is back to looking good as new! Right now, the New England asters are starting to bloom. They attract pollinators, like honeybees, to the rain garden.
