Northwest New Jersey Rivers Conference a Big Success!

The WRWMG’s Education Specialist served on the planning committee for the 4th annual Northwest New Jersey Rivers Conference alongside representatives of the New Jersey Highlands Coalition and the Musconetcong Watershed Association. The event was hosted at Centenary University and consisted of 15 different workshops focused around the theme of promoting the tourism and recreational opportunities of Northwestern NJ. NJ Secretary of State Tahesha Way served as the keynote speaker for the event, and Jeffrey Vasser (Director of the NJ Division of Travel and Tourism), Dorothy Guzzo (Executive Director of the New Jersey Historic Trust), and Tom Drake (Publisher of Skylands Visitor Magazine) served as the plenary panel. Over 100 local residents and municipal officials attended the conference.
