Contractors Complete Tree Trench and Porous Asphalt Projects

New porous asphalt and tree trench projects have been installed on the campus of Halsted Middle School in Newton, NJ using grant funding that the SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group secured from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
The projects are designed to capture and treat the stormwater runoff off of the paved parking lot and playground area of the school, helping to keep the Paulins Kill River clean.
