Celebrating the Solar Eclipse at Sparta Middle School

Kristine Rogers of the SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group was asked to participate in the Sparta Middle School Solar Eclipse Celebration on April 8th. 211 middle school students attended the event to watch the solar eclipse and visit the various ecological displays of the organizations participating in the day. The event was organized by Cara Johnson, a 7th grade life science teacher at Sparta Middle School.
