Sussex County Day is a Huge Success!

The Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority’s Recycling Coordinator and the SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group’s Education and Outreach Specialist hosted a table at Sussex County Day on September 15th. The pair educated the public about the recycling programs offered at the SCMUA as well as the stream restoration projects being spearheaded by the SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group. Other activities included as part of Sussex County Day were a classic car show, scavenger hunt, live music, a chicken wing eating contest, and a kids’ corner with games and inflatables for children.
