SCMUA Recycling Coordinator Presents to Interested Residents

On November 14, Dawn Latincsics, the SCMUA Recycling Coordinator, presented about the SCMUA’s numerous recycling programs in front of the Sparta Environmental Commission and a large group of Sparta residents attending in-person and via the livestream broadcast. The presentation was organized in celebration of America Recycles Day and was the first in a quarterly speaker series that is being organized by the Sparta Environmental Commission. Dawn outlined how residents can recycle more by bringing materials like soft plastic film, electronics, cooking oil, American flags, Styrofoam, etc. to the SCMUA’s Lafayette facility for recycling.
