SCMUA-WRWMG Conducts Riparian Buffer Reforestation Project at Papakating Park

86 additional native trees and shrubs have been planted along the pond and the West Branch of Papakating Creek in Wantage’s township park. The trees will help to provide shade along the stream to cool water temperatures and to establish a forested buffer that will block pollutant runoff from entering the creek.
