THEME: Currents of Connection Between Land, Water and People

Explore the vital links between our landscapes, waterways, and communities at this inspiring day of learning, networking, and action. The day’s events kickoff with a stellar plenary session featuring NJ Climate Revolution Executive Director Ben Dziobek, NJDEP Chief Resilience Officer Nick Angarone and Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey Executive Director Tenisha Malcolm-Wint. Kerry Kirk Pflugh, Executive Director of the Friends of the New Jersey School of Conservation will facilitate a discussion that highlights the importance of land and water to Northern New Jersey’s communities and economies.

Throughout the day, 9 workshops spread across 3 tracks will delve deep on climate and habitat change, land and water resiliency, and community connections in the watersheds across northern New Jersey.

After lunch, former EPA Region 2 Administrator Lisa Garcia will give a keynote address.
