SCMUA Wins NJDEP Recycling Award!

The Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority was recently awarded an NJDEP Recycling Award in the Outstanding Educator/Educational Program category. The NJDEP recognized the success of the SCMUA's annual Earth Day event, its participation in Green Day at the NJ State Fair and Sussex County Day, as well as the educational tours hosted at the SCMUA's Recycling Center for community groups. The NJDEP also noted the SCMUA's work to update its website to make recycling easier for county residents. An awards luncheon was hosted on 10/22 to recognize the SCMUA's honor.
