Reforestation Begins at Culver Brook Preserve

On Saturday, the SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group organized its first tree planting event at the Culver Brook Preserve (former Culver Lake Golf Course) in partnership with the Greater Culver Lake Watershed Conservation Foundation. 11 volunteers came out to assist with the tree planting effort, helping to get the SCMUA-WRWMG closer to its 20-acre reforestation goal for the property.
