SCMUA-WRWMG Awarded New National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Grant!

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s National Coastal Resilience Fund has selected the SCMUA-Wallkill River Watershed Management Group’s grant as one of its 2025 recipients for funding. A total of 68 projects were selected for funding nationwide, with the primary funding being provided by NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). The SCMUA-WRWMG's project aims to reforest 10 acres of reed canary grass-invaded floodplain at the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge in Wantage and Vernon Townships.
