Floodplain Forest Maintenance Day Hosted at Memory Park

The SCMUA-WRWMG recently partnered with the Foodshed Alliance's Paulins Kill Watershed Community Group to remove tree shelters from the floodplain forest that was planted along the Paulins Kill River in Newton's Memory Park beginning in 2014. During the events, the volunteers were able to remove about 250 tree tubes from the park. The tree tubes will be cleaned and then properly recycled at the SCMUA.
