Paulins Kill Corridor Continues to Expand

Monday, July 18, 2016

The SCMUA-WRWMG and The Nature Conservancy were recently awarded funding to continue their reforestation effort along the Paulins Kill River. By the end of 2018, an additional 22 acres of floodplain will be reforested with native tree and shrub material, effectively expanding the reforestation corridor to 47 acres. The project is intended to improve both the water quality and in-stream habitat conditions of the Paulins Kill over time.
