AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassador Rain Barrel Workshop is a Big Success!

The SCMUA-WRWMG’s AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassador for the Wallkill River Watershed recently hosted a rain barrel workshop in partnership with Wawayanda State Park that taught participants about the water conservation benefits of installing a rain barrel at home. In total, 13 rain barrels were constructed as part of the training session, helping to reduce stormwater flows and polluted runoff from entering the Wallkill River and surrounding tributaries.
